My buddy who sold me the car had these wheels with bald tires and gave me snowflakes instead, still needed the other ones for his 2.5rs, so no chance of getting both. I was super butthurt but now that I have a set I am whatever the opposite of butthurt is

Quick question, how much does a roof box affect your fuel consumption, I just got myself a wagon (not a Subaru though) for the first time in ten years, and I'm considering getting a roof box.

Not that bad at all. I notice maybe a 1 mpg decrease? But it could just be my driving. I tend not to check my mpg all too often. There are newer boxes out there that are more streamlined and supposed to be more efficient.

Yeah, seems a tad more convenient than trying to fit two or three pairs of skis inside the car :P I DO have a roof rack, but a box can be locked and the rack not :)

It's really nice for camping and putting wet gear in as well. It can take quite a bit of weight

My car can't have more than 80kg on the roof (so say the law), but since I've got a tiny itsy bitsy trailer as well that doesn't matter really :)

for what it's worth I've seen about a 10 percent drop with my Forester. its very much speed dependent as drag due to frontal area squares with the speed

Should be O.K then I guess, highest speed limit here is 100 kmh (62 mph). But 10% I can live with anyway. :)

Thank you! The tint is in pretty bad shape but it came on the car so I can live with it. It's not like the rest is in immaculate condition.

It's a subaru! If everything is mint and dirt free you're doing it wrong.
